Attention Turkey Trotters! Ready for some outdoor fun with your furry companion? We’ve teamed up with Ohio Basement Authority and created a dog park Thanksgiving morning so you can mingle with other dog owners before and after you trot. Feel the energy that your K9 companion brings and let your best friend enjoy some tasty treats courtesy of Hollywood Feed - Rocky River.
Please remember that Dogs are welcome at the race, but please stay to the back of the start area for the safety of the runners. Dogs are NOT allowed inside Public Hall!
Tips for a Safe and Enjoyable Run with your 4-legged friend
Warm up your dog before you run and cool them down when you're finished by walking for several minutes. Be aware of weather conditions. Dogs can't handle heat and humidity as well as humans can. Carry water on your walks and offer it to your dog regularly.
